The Professional
Development Incentive Award
(formerly Merit Pay I) supports
high quality intentional, informal education and
training (not for college credit). This award is made available one
time each year. There are two tracks available to
choose from, 25 hours of ECP approved training/year for the award of $200 and 50 hours of
training/year for the award of $400. Applicants are awarded on a priority basis
if funding is limited.

(Formerly Higher Education Merit Pay)
The Professional
Development Incentive Award – Higher Ed
(formerly Higher Education Merit Pay) promotes
early childhood education college coursework and certificate and
degree attainment. There are two award options made available twice
each year - $250 for the completion of
2-5 credits/semester and $750 for the completion of a minimum of 6 credits/semester.
Applicants are awarded on a priority basis if funding is limited.

required approved training hours, which must be completed between
8/1/2011-8/31/2012, please submit the following items to the Early
Childhood Project to receive your award money.
